A lovely rhodolite garnet bead necklace from the mid to late 20th century! The newly hand strung necklace is made of numerous natural rhodolite garnet beads on a sterling silver marcasite-accented clasp. The garnets display beautiful purplish rose colours and each is hand polished in a sphere form. The beads measure approximately 4.50mm- 5.50mm and have an estimated total weight of 165 carats. A fanciful vintage sterling silver marcasite clasp secures the necklace, strung straight to the gimp for extra security.
Easily slipping on and off overhead, the total length of the necklace measures 64cm (25" inches) and depending on desired fit the necklace may also be worn as a triple wrap 8.3" long bracelet.

The necklace would add a wonderful pop colour on the neckline and could easily be layered with other favourites.
*The necklace is tightly restrung and will loosen after a few times of wear.
