A rare pair of antique bullet & ball cuff links from the late Victorian era, c1900! Made of sterling silver, this distinct pair of gents cuff links bear a full set of English hallmarks to both the bullet and ball sections. There is also a makers mark "JC" in a shield cartouche which is that of GH Johnstone & Co (a once silversmith of Hatton Garden London). Each set features a tapered ribbed bullet motif and polished ball connected by a simple oval-linked chain. The distinct pair of cuff links are accompanied in the charming antique blue silk/velvet lined box.
The pair measures 3cm long and the bullet measures 2.20cm long

The cuff links present in excellent antique condition. Besides general surface wear, no dents or damage is noted to any parts of the cuff links. Remnants of a natural darkened patina can be seen on the surface of the silver, adding further antiquity character and depth to the design. This can be polished out if desired. |
