An attractive antique turquoise and seed pearl brooch/pendant from the Edwardian era, c1904! Made of 9ct gold, this elegant early Australian piece features an infinity figure and two 3-leaf clover motifs accented with turquoise stones and seed pearls. The motifs rest on a subtle concaved circular and open striated design forming eleven parallel rails. A pin and c-clasp attach to the back, and a safety chain/pin, as well there is a disguised wire loop if you wish to wear as a pendant.
The piece bears early Australian quality hallmarks - the 'sheaf' mark '9' (denoting 9ct gold) and "W" which is the mark for 'T. Willis & Co of Melbourne'. T. Willis & Co, and later Willis & Sons was an iconic jewellery manufacturer in the late 19th century through to the later 20th century (1858-1980).
A gorgeous antique piece which would make a lovely pendant or brooch. Style to suit your desired look!
