A beautiful vintage Akoya pearl & leaf bracelet from the mid to late 20th century. Made of sterling silver with a rhodium (anti-tarnish) finish, the bracelet consists of twenty-four fine quality saltwater Akoya pearls set amongst detailed leaves in grape-esque form.
The white pearls display bright rosy overtones and each radiates with a gorgeous glow - the high grade nacre indicative of older Japanese Akoya saltwater pearls. Each pearl slightly varies in size, measuring in-between 4.20mm smallest, to 4.80mm largest. The trio pearl cluster links portray an organic grape like figure detailed with textured leaves, and joining together with little rings in between, allowing the bracelet to move freely on the wrist. A well-suited Akoya pearl accented box tongue clasp secures the bracelet firmly, and a safety chain attaches for extra security. Stamped 'SILVER', the bracelet tests to sterling silver.
The bracelet measures 18cm (7") total length.
