A beautiful antique cuff bangle from the Victorian era, c1890! Made of sterling silver with white metal frame, this delightful bangle features a hand engraved vine of textured leaves and bellflowers. There is also dotted lines and a foliage-trail border running along the top and bottom of the design; and artfully amalgamating across the front. The back half of the bangle is plain. A tongue side clasp completes the piece. Stamped inside "STERLG SILVER BAND" and "W.D", possibly early Australian origin.
Size of the bangle measures 6 & 1/2 around the inside, 2 & 1/4 across the oval diameter, and just under 1" inch wide.
