A wonderful European gold bracelet from the mid 20th century, c1950! Made of luxurious 18ct yellow gold, this striking bracelet is comprised of fish-esque shaped links in a sleek three-row design. The fish-esque links feature a textured 'tail' with smooth sculptural pyramid bodies, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of its time. All interlocked perfectly together with discreet pins, allowing for an elegant fluid feel when worn. A tongue style clasp secures the bracelet, and there appears to be an absent figure eight safety wire to one side, albeit the tongue secures with a firm click. Stamped "K18" and "750" denoting 18ct gold.
Size of the bracelet measures 18.20cm (7 & 1/4") long, and 2cm wide.

The condition of the vintage bracelet is very good. Besides the figure 8 safety wire latch missing and normal surface wear, the bracelet, to the eye, presents in excellent condition with no link dings or damage noted. One pin has a slight bend, though this is only noticed when the bracelet is laid flat. The clasp works well retaining good tension, giving a firm click when fastened |
