A unique gold padlock clasp from the late 20th century! Made of 9ct yellow gold, this decorative clasp features a double sided patterend border of swirls and flourishes within fancy shield shape. There is a keyhole to the front and a sturdy hinged arm, along with figure 8 clip to the side of arm for extra security.
The padlock carries a nice solid weight of near 6.43 grams, so would be perfect for a chunky-ish style bracelet, if that is your desire. The clasp would also make a gorgeous pendant on chain too! Stamped "9ct" to the reverse, denoting 9ct gold.
Measurements of the padlock are 2.60cm height (including arm) and 1.70cm wide.
