A beautiful antique brooch from the Victorian era, c1900! Made of 15ct gold, this delicate antique brooch features a pretty enamel butterfly resting on a leaf embellished branch. The three-dimensional and artful scene has a movable pink and yellow enameled butterfly which is flanked with pale green leaves on an undulating branch - all with fine textured details. A c-connection and metal pin attaches to the back. Stamps to the back are difficult to decipher, some are partially missing, though appear possibly to be English marks. Tests indicate 15ct gold. The brooch is accompanied in it's Victorian leatherette case.
The brooch measures 4.20cm long.
