A decorative antique turquoise and seed pearl brooch from the Edwardian era, c1910!. Made of 9ct yellow gold, this alluring design incorporates delicate leafy vines accented natural seed pearl and bright blue turquoise accents. The little leaves have textured surfaces resembling life like leave and the flowing organic design adds an aesthetically pleasing look. A three-dimensional unique scalloped border frames the central organic scene. Just beautiful! A metal pin and C-loop attaches at the back. Stamped "9cT" denoting 9ct gold and "W & H" which is possibly maker Walker and Hall. Walker and Hall were a Sheffield based silversmiths, later opening showrooms in Australia (stores in Adelaide and Melbourne) from the late 19th century.
Measurements of the oval shaped brooch are 3.30cm x 2.20cm.
