A charming antique bird engraved brooch from the Victorian era, c1880! Made of sterling silver, this beautiful brooch features a fine hand engraved scene of a swallow bird in flight over reeds, the oval scene framed by a broad rope like border. A metal pin and c-catch attach to the back. No stamps are seen to the piece, tests indicate sterling silver.

The brooch measures 4.00cm x 3.20cm.
