A superb pair of antique dangle earrings from the Victorian era, c1880! Made of sterling silver and rose gold overlay, this ornate pair of earrings feature a rose gold interlaced applique against an ornate hand engraved surface. The unique oblong shape of the drop accentuates the earring design and the little granule accented border gives wonderful Victorian aesthetics! There is original wire shepherd hooks with a uniquely designed ball which allows the top ring to slide through, giving an elegant side to side sway! The back of the earrings are plain. There is a natural darkened patina to the surface giving further antiquity character.
Size of the earrings measures 3.50cm total drop and 1.30cm wide.

The antique earrings present in excellent condition. Besides general surface wear, the earrings present with do dents or damage. Decorations are all intact and unharmed and hook work well with little wear seen to jump rings. A superb pair of antique earrings! |
