A dazzling pair of garnet and white sapphire cluster earrings from the Art Deco era, c1930's! Made of mixed metals and silver tops, this timeless pair of screw-on earrings comprise of bright garnet stones with a halo of white sapphire stones. The garnets display a fiery red hue and are faceted into classic round old cuts. Estimated combined weight of the garnets is 2.20 carats. A halo of white sapphires complement the garnets beautifully. The round old cut sapphires are an assortment of the older lab verneuil type and natural material. The stones are set into claw with beaded/claw surrounds and feature intricate hand-wrought undercarriages with screw-back fitting.
No stamps are sighted to the earrings, an XRF test indicates silver, copper and low carat gold.
The earrings measure approximately 12mm across.

The earrings present in good vintage condition. Besides general surface wear and some small nicks to some of the sapphires, the earrings present well for the near 90 or so year age. Screw fittings work well, and stones appear secure in their settings |
