This sweet pair of vintage earrings, dating back to the mid-20th century circa 1950, showcases a stunning combination of lustrous creamy white Akoya pearls and sparkling marcasite gems. Crafted from sterling silver, the earrings feature a unique navette-shaped design that is both petite and striking, enhanced by cut-out details and a three-dimensional form.
The earrings are equipped with secure screw-back fittings and each earring is stamped 'SILVER' on the reverse, with an additional, albeit difficult to decipher, mark that may read 'DH'.
Size of the earrings measure 16mm long x 9mm wide.

The condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear and natural patina the earrings present in great condition for the 70+ year age! No marcasite stones are missing, or damaged, and pearls retain a beautiful lustre with no nacre damage. All stones appear original hand-set stones. A lovely vintage earring on the lobe! |
