A timeless antique gold necklace from the Edwardian era, early 1900's. Made of 15ct yellow gold, this dainty 18" inch antique necklace is accented with five natural pearls spaced along the trace link.
The natural pearls display white with silvery cream overtones, and there is one special golden pearl (can you spot it?). Ranging slightly in size from 2.60mm to 3.10mm largest, and each pearl varies in shape, indicative of their rare natural formation in the wild!
The smooth and solid trace link has a lovely buttery gold tone typical of antique gold, making it a perfect complement with most antique pendants which are difficult to gold colour match. It may also be worn as a triple wrap bracelet if length allows!
An original barrel style clasp secures the necklace with a firm click. The link width measures approximately 1.80mm and an XRF test verifies solid 15ct gold. A slightly rarer gold standard, 15ct gold was discontinued in the early 1930's.
