A really lovely vintage nephrite jade bird pendant necklace from the late 20th century, c1980! Made of sterling silver, the solid natural Nephrite jade pendant depicts a three dimensional bird in flight motif. The nephrite jade has a rich forest green colour with lustrous waxy surface sheen, indicative of top quality nephrite. It is detailed with carved lines to the wings, serrated tail and grooved beak, adding wonderful character and detail to the bird. The 5.50cm long bird suspends from a 70cm long sterling silver trace necklace, looking gorgeous on!
