Here is a wonderful agate and jasper bracelet from the 19th century Georgian era! This fabulous antique bracelet comprises of seven panels of various coloured and patterned agate and jasper stones, all meticulously hand crafted in 9.7ct gold settings, 18ct gold chain along with gold gilt chain (metals XRF verified).
Graduated in size, the oval cabochon stones feature beautiful warm earth tones unified in a stunning example of mother nature's work. Two of the stones are opaque (jasper) and the rest (agate) have lovely translucent diaphaneity's, highlighting the natural beauty of their internal inclusions and banding.
The stones rest in open-back bezel collets with a decorative feature around the inner edge of the settings. Each panel is connected by a double row of belcher chain with an integrated tongue clasp to the smallest agate. A safety chain is connected for extra security whilst wearing.
The wearable length of the bracelet is 18.50cm (7 & 1/2") long. Panels measure 2.50cm x 1.90cm largest to 1.80cm x 1.40cm smaller clasp side panels

The antique bracelet presents in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the settings or links. The stones are intact, and each is secure set in their setting. Connector links are closed and secure, and clasp works well with firm click. A one of a kind piece! |
