A striking antique turquoise *glass* ring from the Art Deco era, c1920! Made of 9ct rosy yellow gold, the ring features one blue glass imitating turquoise. The very good imitation turquoise slab is fashioned in a unique elongated rectangular shape forming subtle table top facets, adding a lovely dimension to the ring. The glass displays a wonderful 'matrix turquoise' like appearance with white and brown shades mixed within the vibrant blue... resembling turquoise stone perfectly. Sitting low to the finger, the glass rests in a four double claw setting on a fine rounded profile band, with knife-edge shoulders forming up to the setting. A small stamp inside the band is undecipherable, tests indicate 9ct gold.
Finger size measures 'L' (Aus/UK) or '6' (USA).
