A distinct vintage Akoya pearl ring from the 1970's! Made of 9ct yellow and white gold settings, this lovely ring is accented with five lustrous white Akoya pearls in a stunning modernist streamline design. The ring forms into a split at the shoulders and forges into heightened angled walls, allowing for the single row of claw set pearls along the centre. A smooth flat round shank measuring 2.20mm - 3.00mm wide makes up the rest of the ring. Stamped "9ct" denoting 9ct gold.
Finger size of the ring measures O (Aus/UK) or 7 (USA).

The overall condition of the vintage ring is very good. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mount or settings. All pearls appear secure in their claw setting and nacre unharmed. A wonderful estate ring! |
