A dazzling sapphire and diamond ring from the late 20th century! Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, this eye catching ring features one no heat Ceylon sapphire and twenty eight twinkling diamonds channel set in three rows. Taking centre stage is one unique hued no heat Ceylon type sapphire. The sapphire displays subtle colour shift from light purple blue to blue green - a distinctive feature! Internal inclusions of dark crystals and intact silk indicates that there has been no evidence of heat treatment - the majority of sapphires on the market have had some form of heat treatment. The sapphire is fashioned in a classic oval cut, and the estimated weight is 1.22 carats. Stepped down in height are three rows of channel set diamonds, slightly larger diamonds are placed into the centre row and smaller on the outside rows. Qualities of the diamonds are G - J colour range and VS2 - SI2 clarity range. Collectively the diamonds weigh 0.53 carats. The tapered design is lovely on the finger - measuring 10.7mm wide at the top and forming down to a smooth 3mm wide base.

Accompanying the ring is an independent FGAA/NCJV valuation certificate completed July of 2023 stating the RRP of $ 4,540 (AUD)

The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides general surface wear, the ring presents superbly with no damage or dents the mount and settings. The sapphire is securely set with no abrasions or table wear seen under magnification. Diamonds are set snug in their channel and no damage is noted to any when viewed under magnification. A wonderful estate ring!
