A modernist-style statement ring from the mid to late 20th century! Made of 9ct yellow gold, the ring boasts a glamorous colour-change synthetic sapphire centred by an angled and raised 'lip' each end, and wide claw either side. The synthetic sapphire stone, (also sometimes called synthetic corundum & synthetic alexandrite), displays a stunning colour change of a vivid purple hue to strong purplish blue in artificial lighting. The estimated weight of the synthetic sapphire is 19.50 carats. A unique upswept multi-rail undercarriage to the ring adds further strength and design to the ring (the underside design is somewhat reminiscent of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!). The ring has a split shoulder design and is finished with a flat profile cut-out style band, widening to 5mm at base.
Finger size measures R & 1/2 (Aust/UK) or 9 (USA).

Not shy on the finger, the unique design is sure to receive complements whilst wearing!
