A lovely decorative garnet ring from the mid to late 20th century! Crafted in sterling silver, this unique signet style ring boasts one garnet surrounded by decorative tulip and scroll pierced work - the sinuous design reminiscent of the wonderful Art Nouveau aesthetics.
Resting in a timeless oval bezel design, the natural almandine garnet displays a rich red colour with eye clean clarity. Estimated weight of the garnet is 1.50 carats. The fanciful design is finished with engraving detail to the tulip and etching to the bezel rim. The ring tapers down to a smooth and narrowed shank, stamped "925" inside the band, denoting sterling silver.
Finger size of the ring measures M (Aus/UK) 6 & 1/4 (USA).
