A wonderful antique signet ring dating to the Edwardian era, circa 1910's. Stamped with a set of early Australian hallmarks, the ring is made of 9ct gold and the colour is a lovely warm antique rose hue featuring a beautiful smooth aged surface, reflecting its timeless appeal.
The top signet is a classic oval design decorated with a script hand engraved monogram of initials 'CRL'. Additionally, and to the reverse of the signet plate there is another script monogram, what appears to read initials 'CJC'. A smooth half round shank tapering from 7mm wide to 2.80mm wide at the base makes up the rest of the ring. The oval signet plate measures 12mm x 10mm.
Finger size of the ring measures 'O' (Aus/UK) or '7 & 1/4' (USA) and is resizable to a degree.
