A fabulous vintage ruby and diamond cluster ring from the mid to late 20th century! Hand made of 18ct white gold, this striking vintage ring radiates with four pear shape rubies and five twinkling diamonds arranged in a unique flower or cross claw style cluster. 

The four earth-mined rubies display beautiful raspberry pink hue's and collectively weigh 1.10 carats. The bright oval cut rubies are the older Thai material which are rarely sourced on today's retail market due to the now-depleted Thai mines.

The rubies rest in three-claw collet settings that alternate with claw-set diamonds, including a central diamond for added brilliance. The ring's low-profile wire undercarriage and tapered outer wires allow for comfortable stacking with other rings. A smooth half round 3.10mm wide upswept shank with squared shoulders nicely finishes the ring.

Inside the shank bears stamps '18K' along with '011' (total diamond weight) and '110' (total ruby weight). Additionally, the ring has been XRF verified to 18ct white gold.

Finger size of the ring measures N (Aus/UK) or 7 (USA).

Upon purchase the vintage ring would be accompanied by a photographic valuation certificate for insurances purposes, carried out independently by a registered NCJV/FGAA valuer. *The insurance replacement value of the ring dated 5th December 2024 was $ 4,180 AUD. A copy of the valuation can be viewed upon request.

The condition of the vintage ring is very good. Besides general surface wear, the mount itself presents in excellent condition with claws intact and stones secure. All stones present in superb condition. A wonderful vintage ring!
