This wonderful vintage opal and diamond ring, crafted circa 1975, showcases a unique cocktail style that is both elegant and artistic. Handcrafted in a combination of 9ct yellow gold and white gold, the ring features a solid natural opal measuring approximately 13.50mm x 8.50mm, which is predominately white semi-opaque Australian material exhibiting a subtle play of color in shades of orangey red, green, and purple.
Complementing the opal are two sparkling 0.02-carat natural diamonds, elegantly set in white gold claw settings and nicely accompanying the smooth bezel opal setting. The flowing 'ribbon' wire design gracefully meanders around the opal and diamonds, creating a visually striking look along with a nice spread on the finger. A smooth flat round 3.00mm wide band which forms a widened and split top section makes up the rest of the ring. Stamped '375 inside the band denoting 9ct gold.
Finger size of the ring measures L 1/2 (Aus/UK) or 6 1/4 (USA).
