A lovely vintage bangle featuring the very popular bamboo design all the way around, bangle dates to around 1970's-80's. The bangle is crafted in 9ct gold - the colour a pretty pinkish rose. Bangle is Australian made, corresponding carat stamps on the inside "9CT" "375" along with makers stamps. The bangle would fit a wrist measuring 8" inches or inner diameter is 64mm. The width measures 9.50mm x 5.50mm thick- both measured from widest and thickest points. The wrist shape of bangle is a classic round and maybe suitable for wear near the elbow as a stylish sleeve holder or arm band. Bangle has a sturdy weight of 14.70 grams - hollow constructed, not solid.
The bamboo often represents flexibility, endurance & virtue and has been a popular spiritual significance since ancient times.
