A wonderful rock crystal necklace from the Art Deco era, c1920! The necklace is made up of sparkling natural quartz gemstones, (or otherwise known as rock crystal!) which are beautifully calibrated from small at the back neck to large at the front. The colourless quartz gemstones are hand-cut into lovely briolette drops and each are faceted reflecting shards of light with every motion. There is one faceted round quartz bead at the front which adds a nice symmetry to the necklace. The necklace has been securely hand strung straight onto the 9ct rose gold bolt-ring clasp and matching jump ring. A timeless 'matinee' length at 20" (50cm) long.
A wonderful Art Deco necklace. A piece which would add a glistening finesse to any outfit by itself, or layered with your other favourites!

Very good. There is some miniscule nicks to a few of the beads when viewed under magnification, mostly placed at the ends. The gimp and thread is relatively firm so has been left. Overall the necklace has been well maintained for its near 100 years age! Just gorgeous! |
