A classic pair of natural ruby stud earrings from the 1960's! The rubies once formed part of a ring which didn't seem to capture the true beauty of the natural earth-mined rubies, so we have transformed into classic everyday earrings. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the rubies glisten in perfect four claw settings. Each ruby displays a pretty purplish red colour and clean 'VS' clarity. Both are fashioned into round brilliant cut, collectively weighing 0.80 carats (estimated 0.40 carat each). The stud setting rests relatively low on the lobe, and posts along with butterfly clips make up the rest of the stud earring. Stamped '750' to each butterfly clip, denoting 18ct gold.
