A fabulous interchangeable ruby and diamond ring set from the mid century, c1960! The unique Asian- origin ring set is made of 9ct white gold and features natural pink rubies and dazzling diamonds.
The centre ring, which can be removed and worn alone, features a single row of five purplish pink round-cut rubies with an approximate total weight of 0.75 carats. The rubies are set in tall four-claw settings with sweeping up-swept shoulders and open bridge style undercarriage. The outer identical diamond rings are adjoined at the lower sides by two boat shaped profiles placed across the outer shank. Seven swiss-cut diamonds accent each ring, all bead-set with complementing up-swept shoulders and bridge style undercarriage, the lower setting height gives a nice stepped look whilst wearing the set all together.
The ruby ring is stamped "WG" and another stamp which is difficult to decipher, possibly "22". Tests indicate approximately 9ct white gold.
Finger size measures 'R' (Aus) or '8 3/4' (USA).
A versatile and wonderful ring set, gorgeous worn all together, or mix and match and stack to your desired look!
