Antique Victorian 14ct Gold Decorative Black & White 'Carbuncle' Earrings, Screw Fitting

What a lovely pair of earrings these are! dating back to late 19th century this pair of earrings have been converted at some stage to screw fitting. The black 'carbuncle' feature has a delicate white pearl like dot surrounded with bursts of gold hand paint... gorgeous! The decorative oval earrings also feature tiny granulation detail and floral embossing. The earrings have been tested to at least 14ct gold and the screw fittings, converted at a later date, are 9ct gold. The earrings measure 20mm long x 16.3mm wide. There is some damage to the one of the floral embossing which may have occurred in the process of converting.
