An attractive sterling silver bon bon dish dating back to Art Deco era- circa 1924. This sterling silver dish bears the full set of English hallmarks; silver standard mark – 'lion' (925), city mark 'leopard's head' (London), date letter fancy lower-case 'i' (1924) and makers mark- 'ABrosLtd' in rounded triangle (Adie Brothers Ltd. Imported for Melbourne firm W. Drummond & Co (William Drummond).
This petite dish, or otherwise known as bon bon or pin dish features a consistent oval/ lattice pierced pattern along sides. This dish measures 3-8/1 "inches across rim and 1 -1/5 in height .
Condition presents excellent and un-damaged -there are no dents, nor deep scratches, just some small signs of age and use with light surface scratches and mild patina. The outside of dish has had a light polish, whilst the inside remains with original patina.
