Vintage 1970's Green Nephrite Jade and 14ct Gold Hoop Earrings

A lovely everyday pair of nephrite jade earrings dating back to the 1970's! The beautiful design features natural nephrite jade forming slender half loops. Attached to the top is hand-crafted 14ct gold wire fittings and caps   ... the zig-zag edge to caps adding extra flair to earrings! The simple wire fittings thread through the ear-lobe and grips into a circle at the back. A elegant slender look front-on and a chunkier look from side-on makes this earring a little bit different to the classic hoop.

The nephrite jade in these earrings are a lovely forest-green colour. Both pieces are well matched with a nice translucency and beautiful level of lustre. Some minor inclusions are seen, but not detracting.

Earrings are not stamped, however have been tested to at least 14ct Gold

These earrings are in pristine vintage condition. A lovely splash of green in the lobe, to wear with casual or dressy attire.
