An eye catching cluster pendant with a Victorian twist! This opal and sparkling paste pendant was once a Victorian circa 1890 bar brooch, we've created it into a fantastic pendant.

The central cluster design features a stunning natural, solid crystal opal of blue green body colour and red/orange flash (seen at angles) -the opal measures 7.40mm x 5.75mm, 0.75 carats estimated weight. Surrounding the opal is fourteen clear sparkly paste stones which are claw/bead set into silver settings.

Remnants of a milgrain edge decorates the rectangular-shaped opal bezel and four square bezels each end of opal. Adding a charming Victorian flair to this pendant is the elaborate hand pierced under-carriage (or underside) of pendant. A 9ct gold slim rail with fancy grooved pattern and fixed runner completes this pendant beautifully. With the fixed runner being the modern addition.

This piece has been tested to 9ct gold and silver settings, there is no stamps. The colour of the gold is the lovely antique yellow rose hue ... or yellow with subtle rose hue! A yellow or rose gold necklace would suit with this pendant, it does not come with necklace.
