This English turquoise necklace bears the stamps "Z.VI & Co" and "Made in England" on the reverse to one of the turquoise drops. Possibly made by Zoltan White - the necklace is the typical style of the factory. Zoltan White was an English silversmith whom had strong Austro-Hungarian influences due to his Hungarian background. Zoltan White & Co operated from around 1900 to about the 1940's. The strong Art and Crafts, almost Art Nouveau style of this necklace is siding me to date to around the 1910's, however could be any date in the boundary of his workshop.

The necklace has been acid tested to sterling silver. The chain is a lovely trace link with a pretty engraved clasp- hook which attaches into clasp was broken when I acquired this piece, so a more recent hook has been replaced. The focal point of this piece is the three stylized pendants spaced evenly at the front of necklace; each feature four cabochon turquoise highlights, with a floret decoration and elaborate sinuous lines. The turquoise gems vary in colour with blue to bluish/green shades.

Total length of necklace measures 15.5" inches, a shorter length than usual. Pendant size measures approximately 25.7mm x 20mm each.
