A gorgeous Vintage lady's compact with a stunning oriental scene to lid; cherry blossom, bridge, pagoda scene. Surrounding lid there is further adornment with decorative scroll engraving, the base is also engraved.
The hinged lid closes securely and there are no dents or damage I can spot, the lovely patina has been left which presents a stunning contrast in the oriental scene and surrounding pattern. The compact opens up to reveal a mirror which over the years has some minor scratches and tiny chips to edges. All in all, this compact is in superb vintage condition for it's age!
There are no stamps sighted, however has tested to a lower grade silver - approx 850.
