A fabulous pair of vintage marcasite earrings from the bold Retro era, c1950! Made of sterling silver, the vintage earrings feature little marcasite stones scattered throughout the design. The little hand-set marcasite's radiate with metallic sparkles from every angle. The distinctive spiral spray design features a little 3-D rosette at the centre. Depending on your preferred style, the earrings can creep up and along the lobe, or sit upright on the lobe. An original screw-back fitting attaches to the back of the earring, stamped "S SIL" denoting sterling silver.
The size of the earrings measure approximately 2.40cm long x 1.60mm wide

| The condition of the earrings are excellent. Besides normal surface wear and natural patina the earrings present in excellent condition for the 70 or so year age! There are no marcasite stones missing, or damaged, and all appear original hand-set stones. A lovely vintage earring on the lobe! |
