A charming antique pearl necklace adorned with a pretty pearl and diamond clasp! Dating to the Art Deco era, (c1920's) the newly restrung pearl necklace consists of ninety eight graduated 3mm to 6mm radiant cultured pearls. The lustrous pearls display creamy white hue's with clean skin and beautiful surface lustre. The pearl necklace features a gorgeous pearl and diamond cluster clasp, the centre half cultured pearl dazzles with a halo of fourteen old Swiss-cut diamonds in a beautifully made platinum-topped 18ct gold milled posy design. A traditional tongue style hook snaps into place nicely. No stamps are sighted to the clasp and hook connection, tests indicate platinum top and 18ct rosy yellow gold.
The timeless pearl necklace has recently been restrung with knots for added strength. It would add a chic touch to any outfit!
