An elegant pair of rock crystal and pearl dangle earrings, c1925! Hand made of 15ct gold the stunning pair of ear dangles are accented with a gleaming rock crystal briolette and a little white pearl in each. Each earring begins with a 'saucer' topped shepherd hook fitting which attaches to two delicate and elongated open triangular links with a small pearl in between the links. A wire threads though the little pearls and minute rings attach either side of the pearls and onto the triangular links, allowing the earrings to sway freely whilst wearing. So delicate and graceful! The rock crystals suspend from the bottom and the stunning all-over facets (aka briolette) catch the light beautifully from each and every direction! A tantalizing drop in the ear at just over 2" long.
The vintage earrings have been tested to 15ct gold, no stamps can be seen though suspect it would've been difficult to stamp the delicate workmanship.
Accompanying the earrings is the charming silk and velvet lined 'Hardy Bros, LTD' case. The antique case was acquired with the earrings and appears to be the original case - the earrings likely retailing at the iconic Australian luxury jeweller Hardy Brothers in the 1920's!
A stunning pair of Art Deco dangle earrings. Perfect for the bride-to-be on her special day, or for the lady who likes an ear dangle!
