A gorgeous vintage marcasite feather bouquet brooch from the funky Retro era, c1950! Made of 935 silver, the lovely 3-dimensional brooch depicts a bouquet of swirls and feather like motifs in a fluid undulated design. The striking design is accented with dazzling marcasite stones throughout. The delightful design features milled detail, and there is natural darkened patina to the silver surface … adding further depth of character to this wonderful vintage brooch! A pin and secure revolver clasp on the reverse makes up the rest of the brooch.
The back of the brooch bears a plaque stamped "935" - a silver standard slightly higher than sterling silver (925), and typical for older German pieces.
A fabulous vintage brooch, sure to jazz up the high-neck collar, jacket lapel, or winter woolies!

| The condition of the brooch is excellent. Besides normal surface wear and natural patina the brooch presents in fabulous condition for the 70 or so year age! There are no marcasite stones missing, or damaged, and all appear original hand-set stones. A lovely vintage piece! |
