A charming vintage gold 21st Key pendant from the mid 20th century, c1940! Made of 9ct gold, the colour is a lovely rosy yellow hue indicative of older gold. This darling key pendant started out as a brooch and has been beautifully converted into a chic and more wearable piece of jewellery. The Key pendant depicts the shape of a skeleton key with a long ribbed shaft, cut-out head, and hand pierced '21' numerals at the base. Both the head and numerals are adorned with fanciful hand engraved patterns, adding extra vintage charm and detail to this beautiful pendant! A disguised half loop attached to the back allows a chain of your choice to thread through. Stamped "9CT" denoting 9ct gold, and makers mark "HP" with bird symbol (maker unknown, albeit likely Australian manufacturer).
The good-sized pendant measures 4.10cm x 1.50cm wide at the head.
