A sweet 19th century miniature wax seal fob! The gold filled ornate etched case is wonderful and the gold colour emits a lovely warm rich glow. It has a beautiful bevel edged piece of bloodstone intaglio in a spinach green colour, speckled with red spots. The detailed intaglio carving is of a thistle- which has a rich history with Scotland. 

Measuring 9.3mm tall x 10.6mm x 12.30 across the base, this beautiful miniature fob seal is suitable for wear by a lady as a necklace pendant or bracelet charm.
