A timeless vintage pearl ring from circa 1970! Made of gleaming 9ct yellow gold, the ring boasts a beautiful Akoya cultured pearl. The 6mm pearl is white with silvery pink overtones, no blemishes can be seen to the skin of the pearl giving it a gorgeous surface radiance. The pearl rests and is secured in a saucer style setting, it is flanked by concaved leaf shape shoulders which are upswept either side. A smooth flat profile band makes up the rest of the ring, the well proportioned band measures 4.20mm at base 4.50mm wide at the top. The ring bears the stamp 'KARINA' which was perhaps the design name at the time, as well as the gold guarantee stamp "9CT" inside the band.
The ring would make the perfect stacking ring, or just as nice worn alone!

The overall condition of the ring is superb. Besides normal surface wear there is no apparent damage to the gold or pearl which appears secure in the setting. A lovely vintage ring! |
