A gorgeous statement Red Coral vintage ring from the mid 20th century! Made of 14ct rosy yellow gold and originating from Poland, this spectacular ring features one natural red coral cabochon bead at the centre. The coral is a prized dark orange red hue (which continues to go up in value) and is over 14 carats. Surmounted from within a hand-fabricated mounting adorned with fanciful scroll border, chenier undercarriage and upswept flower motifs embellishing each shoulder. A sturdy 3.3mm wide rounded shank makes up the rest of the ring. A 'knight's head' along with 'W' and '3' hallmark inside the shank inform us that the ring was made in Warsaw, Poland between 1931- 1963.
The independent appraised value of the ring, dated February 2016, was $2,710 AUD.

The vintage ring presents in excellent vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, the ring presents in excellent condition throughout, the gold details remain crisp and the coral firmly in place. A gorgeous vintage ring! |
