If you're a fan of blue and green shades this ring is for you! The vibrant bluish green opal ring dates back to the retro era- around 1960's. Ring boasts a good sized 16mm x 12mm opal triplet which has a stunning array of blue and green highlights. There is some very light surface wear to the top layer of triplet and very small specks of delamination, seen upon close-up view and good lighting. Colours in the opal really need to be seen in real life to be fully appreciated. The opal is more than likely Australian origin.
Opal is shown-off in a gleaming 9ct yellow gold hand-crafted mount. There is elegant ribbon- like swirls surrounding the bezel. A sturdy and flat profile shank makes up the rest of ring, it measures 2.80mm wide and features split shoulders for extra style (and strength)! Head of ring measures 21mm x 16.4mm, 5.20mm setting height.
Finger size measures 7 or N 1/2, resizable to a degree.
This ring would make a stunning dress ring .... sure to receive compliments! October is the birthstone for Opal.
