This lovely antique ring dates back to late Victorian era, circa 1890. The gorgeous low design features 5 graduated diamond-shape sections across the top half of band. Each alternately set with moonstone and ruby gemstones. Accented into the middle diamond section is one 3.40mm white moonstone and bead set either side is two 2.80mm x 2.00mm elongated old-cut ruby gemstones of a pretty pink colour. Ending either side is one 3.20mm white moonstone.
Ring is hand-crafted in 15ct gold, colour is the beautiful antique hue - a subtle yellow with rose tinge. Corresponding gold purity hallmark "15" placed inside shank, along with 'PA' - perhaps the makers mark.
Ring measures 8.30mm wide at top (point to point) tapered to 2.75mm wide at base. The top section of band is relatively low - 1.20mm. Finger size of this ring measures 5 or J, it is resizable to a degree.
