A wonderful psychedelic creation from the roaring 60's! The handcrafted ring is a one of a kind design and certainly a statement on the finger. One for the lover of bold & unique! The vintage ring boasts a bright golden citrine gemstone - it measures 17.5mm x 13.20mm, estimated weight is 11.30 carats. The faceted pear-shape citrine is a nice proportion (not too fat and not too skinny!). A scintillated citrine gem which has a lovely light golden orange colour with 'eye-clean' clarity.
Citrine is set in a corner V cap claw setting. Either side of citrine features a white gold asymmetrical and upswept bridge-like design which sweeps outward slightly. There are eye-catching pierced rails along each 'bridge'. A subtle concave yellow gold shank forms up and around the the rounded end of citrine.
Beautifully handcrafted in 9ct yellow & white gold, corresponding "9CT" stamp inside shank. More than likely Australian origin.
An eye-catching cocktail ring... not for the faint-hearted!
