A stunning amethyst and white gem three-stone ring from c1980! Entirely handmade of 18ct white gold, the timeless three-stone design features a natural fine quality amethyst gemstone. The bright amethyst displays an intense dark purple hue with slight red flash - a rare quality in amethyst gemstones, and a characteristic of the superior Russian or Siberian material. The estimated weight of the oval-cut amethyst is 3.10 carats. Stepped down and flanked either side of the amethyst is one 3mm round white imitation diamond. All stones are resting in claw collet settings with an elegant upswept flat profile shank. Stamped '18CT' inside of the shank denoting 18ct white gold.
The ring would be accompanied by an independent valuation certificate carried out by a FGAA Gemmologist/ Registered NCJV Valuer. An independent NCJV valuation on the ring carried out in 2019 was $2,690 AUD.
A beautiful three stone ring, perfect for any amethyst admirer, or the lady with a February birthday. It is a birthstone for February.
