A stylish vintage ladies Bucherer watch from the mid-to late 20th century, c1970. This classy timepiece from Bucherer is made of 800 silver and has an effortlessly chic look! The sophisticated oval-shaped face has black hour indices and black hands on a silver tone face that reads "BUCHERER" and "SWISS MADE". Noose style lugs attach to the top and bottom of the case where a smooth wire bangle connects from. The bangle is tension released and secured by the top 'hook'. A simple yet very elegant design!
The fabulous mechanical hand-wound Bucherer seventeen jeweled movement is in working order, in fact not skipping a beat within 24 hours! A simple wind of the side crown to kick-start the cogs is needed every time it's worn. Whilst it is currently working, the watch has not had a recent service so does not come with a guarantee.
The band and case of the watch bears stamps "0.800" (silver grade), "CF" (maker Carl F Bucherer) "Gentian flower" (Switzerland import mark) and "10622108" (model number).
The watch is made by one of the oldest luxury Swiss watchmakers, Bucherer. Founded in 1888 by Carl F Bucherer, today the prestigious Bucherer company is run by the original family's third generation, and still has strong affiliations with the Rolex brand.
The watch case measures approximately 22mm long x 18.00mm wide, and the inside diameter of the band measures 51mm and circumference is 15cm (6"inches). Suitable for a small to medium sized wrist.
The Bucherer bangle watch looks lovely worn alone, night or day … casual or formal! The perfect vintage timepiece to keep you on time!
