This sweet, petite vintage pendant dates back to c 1920 or so. The 'Goodluck' horseshoe is encrusted with sparkling marcasite gems. The eye draws towards the beautiful white cultured akoya pearl which measures 6.20mm. The nice quality pearl is round in shape with clean skin and very good lustre. Complimented with pendant, and what appears to be the original, is a sterling silver 18" curb necklace. The original patina has been left to both the pendant and necklace. The dark patina exudes the original vintage feel, however level of polish is a matter of taste, so can easily be cleaned - if you wish!
Pendant is on the smaller side; measuring- 13mm north to south x 10mm east to west. Chain length 46cm or 18" inches
Pearl is the birthstone for June. This would make a perfect gift for that someone with a June birthdate or a lovely gift to give for someone to 'wish them luck'....
